When a friend shared pictures of Karen at a wedding, she was horrified. Were they really her teeth? It was the push she needed to do something about them.

Karen had always looked after her teeth and naturally she thought that her regular NHS dental check-ups would spot any problems that occurred. Yet her teeth were crooked and stained. When, in her early thirties, she found herself back on the dating scene, the look of her teeth really dented her confidence.

She had a gold crown at the back, which she was convinced everyone could see so she perfected her fake ‘closed mouth’ smile and tried to carry on. But when Karen saw the pictures of her laughing at a friend’s wedding, she took action.
