Contact the Smile Savers team with your name, the area involved, when the problem started and a clear description of what you can feel or see. Photos can be helpful where appropriate. The team will advise whether you need a London review, local urgent care or a return to Budapest.

Yes, suitable planned checks and maintenance can be arranged through London. Some repairs, laboratory stages or guarantee work may still need to be completed in Budapest. The location and any fee depend on the treatment and the problem being assessed.

No. Routine maintenance, planned checks and repairs covered by a written guarantee are different things. London check-ups and maintenance are chargeable, and not every adjustment or replacement is a guarantee claim.

The current London annual check-up fee is £85 when no panoramic X-ray is required, or £150 when an OPG is required. Annual review is important for ongoing maintenance and is required under the clinic guarantee conditions.

Guarantee cover depends on the treatment item, the written guarantee period, its conditions and the cause of the problem. Implant guarantee is five years and crown guarantee is three years. Annual checks are required. Guarantee work is carried out where the treatment was performed, and flights and accommodation are not covered.

Follow the personalised instructions given by your dental team, including cleaning around implants and beneath bridgework. If you are unsure which brushes, interdental aids or technique to use, ask at your next review rather than guessing.

Smile Savers London is on Grays Inn Road in central London. Visits are by scheduled appointment only. Please use the clinic page or your appointment confirmation for travel directions.

Eligible new patients can currently use selected free-consultation days. Outside those nominated days the consultation fee is £35. A standard consultation is 20 minutes, with additional assessment/discussion time available for £20 when required.

A suitable panoramic X-ray no more than two months old is required for the current free-consultation pathway. If you do not already have one, an OPG can be taken in London for £75.

CT scans are arranged through CT-Dent and are currently £140 per jaw, paid directly to CT-Dent. They are not included in Smile Savers treatment totals unless specifically stated.

There is no separate hygienist service in London. Cleaning is carried out by a dentist. Current London cleaning fees are £85 for scaling and polishing and £125 for an extended cleaning appointment.

Yes. Free Budapest airport transfers are available for treatment patients as part of the Budapest pathway. Your itinerary will confirm the arrangements for your visit.

Clinic apartments may be available for Budapest treatment visits and have a minimum three-night stay. Partner-hotel options may also be offered when appropriate. Accommodation is separate from dental treatment fees.

No. Flights and accommodation are separate from dental treatment prices unless a specific written offer says otherwise. Smile Savers can provide practical guidance around the Budapest visit.

Many implant cases use two Budapest trips. A first surgical visit is commonly around two to three working days, followed by healing, then a second restorative visit of around five working days. Your own written treatment plan takes priority because the sequence varies by case.

For the standard Smile Savers implant pathway, allow a minimum of six months healing unless your written treatment plan says otherwise. Delaying the final stage substantially beyond the recommended period can affect guarantee conditions.

Yes. The treatment plan can place different stages in London and Budapest where clinically appropriate. The best split depends on treatment complexity, clinician availability, laboratory stages and whether travelling is worthwhile.

Usually not purely for cost. A straightforward single-tooth example is currently £2,140 in London and £1,013 in Budapest, but Budapest requires travel and usually two visits. For one implant, local treatment is often more practical once flights, accommodation and time are considered.

Tell the Smile Savers team as soon as you know. Airport transfers and clinic scheduling depend on accurate arrival and departure information, so revised flight details should be sent before travel whenever possible.

Sometimes, depending on the treatment plan, clinician schedule and arrival time. For surgical visits it is generally preferable to arrive the previous day; where same-day start is planned, an arrival before midday is usually needed.
